Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD: Queen of Chalices
Before choosing this week's tarot card, I had an image of the Love card (2 of Chalices) appear in my mind. This card depicts a man dressed in green trousers and white top, embracing a lady dressed in pink. It depicts romance and/or strong feeling. The pink and the golden-yellow background were strongest in my mind. When I saw the card on the bottom of the deck - Queen of Chalices - naturally I noticed that we were dealing with the colour pink again. Imagine my 'surprise', though, to shuffle the deck three times, then laying down the cards with my eyes closed, and stopping at random...only to see the Queen of Chalices again! (I say 'surrpise' because these kinds of coincidences, and indeed a lot stranger, are very common as they are for many of us these days! Indeed, that being the case, surely it's about time I dropped the exclamation marks.)
This week's card depicts a lady with blonde hair, dressed in pink, smiling, with a golden chalice held at her heart level. To me, what with the Queen of Chalices and my 'seeing' the Love card, this suggests that 'love is in the air.' This card signifies the ability to be in tune with one's emotions, one's heart, and to be very giving. The Queen of Chalices is not a card of unbridled passion, it is a card of unconditionality. Whilst the lower heart is usually depicted by the colour green, the higher heart is usually depicted by the colour pink. Thus, her pink dress demonstrates her being seated in her higher heart and loving to (pardon the pun) a 'higher degree'.
We've all heard the term 'un-conditional love'. What does it mean? It means literally what it says. Loving without conditions.Loving simply for the sake of loving, expecting nothing in return. The awareness, the experience, that one is loving simply because that's what one is...LOVE. Loving you're nearest and dearest or those you have 'an eye for' is easy...(well, most of the time)...the true test of Unconditonal Love is being able to remain 'in love' when you have a disagreement with someone, or when someone you perceive to hurt you.
This of course brings us to forgiveness, a whole new subject which I shall keep brief. Let's just say that unconditional love aint that easy for most of us, but we can choose to allow it to grow like a muscle just like any other ability. I actually believe that it is our true nature, so it's more a case of just allowing it. But the muscle anology is still a good one, because it is something which must be cultivated due to our faulty perceptions of separation causing us to forget it. We often block out our natural state of unconditionality because it means allowing ourselves to feel more deeply. How do we do that? In short, we remember that we are all One.
So, the mood of the week is one of the heart. You may be experiencing some emotional times, you may be finding yourself open and giving, and you may be finding yourself -- if you're very 'lucky' -- experiencing a spot of romance! If so, this card is a good omen, otherwise it may indicate that you are about to meet someone! Either way, just be aware that this is a good time to explore all issues of the heart. Discover what makes you're heart sing, what you're passion is in life. Have a look at the question of relationships in a new light. Use this time to explore what you're really looking for. Above all, remember that you are loving, lovable, and very loved.
AFFIRMATION
'I Am loving, lovable, and loved. I Am Unconditional Love.'
MEDITATION
Take a deep breath, in through the nose, and out through the mouth. Imagine roots growing from you're feet down into the earth, right to the centre. Then imagine the sun shining down upon you, warming the top of you're head. Now, become aware of you're heart. Imagine it opening like a green flower. See you're self sitting there at the centre. When you are ready, move up to the thymus in the centre of you're chest about an inch and a half above the heart. Imagine a turqouise flower unfolding, and see you're self at the centre of it. See and feel you're self smiling. Now see at the centre of that you within you, a green heart flower there. See and feel it open. Then see a turquoise flower above it open. Allow this energy to anchor.
Then see you're self going out into the world, smiling, and beaming love from you're heart wherever you go. See and feel the love between you're self and all others, you're self and all life. See and feel other people, the birds, nature, and all life, responding back to you with joy. Experience and re-experience this in you're mind until it becomes a definite feeling within you're heart, and then breath it throughout you're being. Become one with it. Be it. End by imaging a pink light cascading down through the top of you're head and throughout you're body. Take a minute or to to allow this to integrate in silence. Then take a deep breath and open you're eyes.

Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD:: Maid of Chalices
Last week we had Maid of Vesicas, representing the divine feminine-masculine balance and birth -- perfect symbology for the Summer Solstice -- this week we have the Maid of Chalices. This card shows a lady dressed in blue, holding out a chalice near from heart, sitting in a field of poppies. Chalices hold liquid and so this card has a strong emotional side to it. But what kind of emotion are we dealing with? Well, because she is holding the chalice by her heart, it suggests innocence and openess. Meanwhile, her sleeves are hanging lose, suggesting flexibility, and the front of her dress is lightly laced, suggesting she knows how to contain her energy but at the same time open to sharing. As for the field of poppies she sits in? For me, I have always interpreted this as representing some form of loss or sacrifice, because they wear poppies on memorial day to represent those who died in the First World War. I see these sacrifices or loss as representing all the experiences and healings we have been through to open our heart, which was often a tumultuos and trying process. I know it certainly has been for me.
This card suggests that we now find ourselves more emotionally in-tune, more emotionally flexible, and more giving of ourselves. The other possibility is that we need to open up more and come in to emotional balance. A simple method I have used recently, which is quite effective, is simply to hold a Rose Quartz crystal and/or then place one's attention in one's heart space. You can rest there and wait to see how you really feel, beneath the veneer of your mind. Once there, you can give yourself whatever nurturance you require. Whatever you find there, love and respect it and be open. Note how you feel, note your reaction to how you feel, and if your reaction is fear based, be easy on yourself and return to the space of unconditional love. You may find people being more attracted to you at this time, and more open in response. Remember to give freely of yourself and be the shining example of love that you are!
AFFIRMATION
'I am in touch with my true feelings. Wherever I may go, I am the expression of Divine innocence'.
MEDITATION
After last weeks epic sagafor the Solstice, I thought I'd keep this week's nice and simple.
Take a deep breath. Imagine growing roots down into the earth, and light coming down from above. Breath the light throughout your entire body, from head to toe, and down into the earth below. Now become aware of how you are laying or seated. Become aware of your breath, the posture of your body. Now hold your Rose Quartz crystal if you have one, or imagine one if you don't. Cup it in your hands. Put your mind at the centre of the crystal, find it's heart with your mind. Become aware of your heart and become aware of the crystal's heart simultaneously. Now hold the crystal up by your heart. Imagine at the centre of your heart is a chalice. Breath in pink light from the crystal which fills the chalice, until it overpsills. Overspill with love. Smile as you focus on your heart space. Breath this smile through every part of you, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, and then return awareness to your heart again. Look at yourself and see another you within you, see this other you shrink until they become very small like a 'mini Me'! Seat your mini-Me in your heart space. Look out through your mini-Me's eyes. Then visualise the rest of your day, or if it is late, visualise -- plan -- tomorrow. Smile through out your body, see yourself meeting people throughout your day. You are smiling, and the smiles return. Spend a while doing this in as much detail as possible... Then return your mini-Me back to normal size to synthesis with the rest of you, become aware of your body again, and slowly open your eyes.
Now... go out there and smile!

Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD: MAID OF VESICAS
This card depicts a beautiful, pregnant woman, meditating in an orchard near Chalice Hill, Glastonbury. She is near to giving birth, the Tor can be seen behind, and it is a beautiful late afternoon. The woman is naked, apart from a cloth of pure white draped across her legs, symbolising purity. She is holding a vesica pisces in her hands near her sacral chakra, and has a vesica in her third eye area. Vesica piscis is symbolic of the first division of a single cell and the balance of male-female energy. Her face is tranquil, she clearly has roots growing from below her into the earth, and she is surrounded by a bright pink-gold aura (colours of unconditional love and crystal energy) which is perfectly round and clear. She meditates alongside a row of trees which suggest clear boundaries and grounding.
This card coming up at this time indicates a deep connection with the earth. If your not connected with the earth, then go for a walk in nature, or meditate with a tree or rock! The row of trees suggests being balanced and grounded, and the requirement for healthy boundaries. Because she is meditating the card can suggest developing abilities in meditation and contemplation. Maybe your well in tune, but if not (maybe you've been too engaged in the 'world' recently) then it's time to retreat a little and connect with the earth and with yourself. As the Maid of Vesicas is depicted as pregnant the card suggests you are on the verge of giving birth to new ideas or energy. Maybe there are new projects or inspirations coming into your life. If not, maybe life feels somewhat repetitive and therefore needs some fresh input! I've certainly been noticing this myself. The answer is to break your own mould and try something new!
This card can also indicate study -- especially higher education, study of the mind, or spiritual study -- as it indicates a deep curiosity about the world in which we live. If you are a lightworker, you may have noticed yourself inspired to radically new approaches or techniques in your work. Personally, I have had a constant stream of inspiration -- usually when in the bath! -- regarding a new service of mine, Andromedan DNA Activations! Now if that isn't a radical birth of a new energy, I don't know what is. Otherwise, if you only have a fleeting interest in new age matters, you may have found yourself becoming more curious recently...
Recently, the Goddess Quan Yinn came to me spontaneously whilst in meditation and spoke with me. This happens rarely, even for me, as I still find the experience kind of odd. It was probably easier for me to do so because I was meditating with my female friend Sara at the time, whom I refer to as my 'Mother' or 'the Galactic Mother'! In general, feminine energy will be quite strong at the moment. Indeed, I feel we are shifting from a masculine cycle back into a feminine one now, in which many things we have been working on recently (mostly on the inner planes) will now manifest on the outer planes (i.e. the symbolism of birth). In terms of the Summer Solstice on June 20th (here in England anyway, depends where you live), Summer Solstice is the time when the God and Goddess come together. Interestingly, me and Sara have some kind of synchronistic connection like twins and our energies are working increasingly well together at manifesting our projects. Funny you know, Sara has sometimes joked that I am the 'Father'. Quann Yinn also mentioned being the 'mother of the Christed child', a birthing of which will culminate on the 21st June the first day of summer proper. Clearly this is suggesting that male and female energy is coming together synergistically to birth a third force, the result of the marrying of the two. So expect some massive changes and breakthroughs within yourselves, your relationships, and within your ability to manifest...
AFFIRMATION
'I am creative and receiving much in-spire-ation. I am allowing the birth of the new me, the shiny crystal self that is my true essence.'
MEDITATION
Breath in through the nose, and out through the mouth. Imagine you are breathing in inspiration. You are in-spir-ing through your breath. Become aware of your roots growing down into the earth, and see your aura around you shining golden-pink. Breath in the golden-pink light, the light of inspiration and rebirth. Feel it connecting you with your heart and from your heart connecting you to your higher self, and from this connection to the fountain of wisdom and creativity that is your birthright. Keep breathing the golden-pink light, aware that your breath is your inspiration. And then breath out through your mouth all the old and stagnant energy for release. Breath it down into the centre of the earth where it is transmuted.
Breath again the golden-pink light of inspiration and rebirth. See within your heart now a crystal, as you focus upon this crystal you become aware of a mini-You, a smaller version of you that is situated at the centre of a vesica-piscis, the body posture, breathing, etc. of this mini-You is identical to your present posture and breathing...except that this mini-You looks slightly different and has golden-pink coloured skin! And yet this difference is less of a visual difference, more of a felt one within your heart. Smile, and see this mini-You smiling. Become aware now that this being is moving upwards as you breath, up into a chakra above your heart chakra. This chakra is your 8th chakra, thymus, or 'higher heart'. It is the colour turqoise. It is the seat of the crystal, cryst-al, or Christed Self. Breath this Christed one up into your higher heart to be seated there now within it's true home. Continue to smile and see this Christed one smiling back at you. Allow this smile to move from your face, down into your neck, your chest, your stomach, your legs, throughout every part of your being! Yes, indeed, you can metaphorically smile throughout every part, cell and fibre of your being! This is a whole body smile. A Christed smile of Peace.
Now focus upon the Christed one at your higher heart, and watch as they expand, as they grow...to eventually become the same size as yourself, and fill your entire being. Then see down to evry part of you, every cell, and even down to the atomic, subatomic level and beyond, every single droplet of your being containing a smiling Christed or Buddhic one within it. See each droplet as a rainbow sphere with the smiling Christed one within. Now take a deep breath and spend some quiet time integrating this within your being. When you are ready, become aware of your feet, and open your eyes. Welcome back, to see the world afresh with new eyes of crystal vision and clarity!

Hayfever & Energetic Sensitivity--What's the Soul-ution...?
I had the most challenging few weeks of allergy-symptoms ever. If you don't suffer from allergies, you're probably wondering how a spot of 'hayfever' could be so challenging? Put it this way. I had hayfever (itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose) for almost two weeks continuously. I said to the angels, 'I really must find a solution this year! I don't think I can take much more of this!' I hate nothing more than 'popping pills' to treat myself. I always prefer alternative, non-drug solutions, though of course the symtpoms become so bad sometimes that I have to take medication. Hayfever, for me, becomes so bad that I cannot do anything that requires concentration, let alone think! And this occasion was certainly one of them! What I mean't by solution, when I spoke to the angels, was of course a 'soul-ution', a solution that takes my soul into account. A solution that takes into account the fact that I am an individual, rather than a 'one size fits all' for whom the same pill will do the trick for me just as it does for everyone else.
Anyway, I walked into the chemist after asking the angels, and I thought how whenever I ask them I receive what I ask for. Despite my symptoms seeming so bad that I wondered if they could really help me out with this challenge--maybe angels find hayfever too challenging!--I knew that this challenge shouldn't be any different from any other. 'If you ask, so shall you receive.' Whilst standing there, looking at the endless display of summer-season medications, I over-heard something on the speakers, an advert mentioning some hayfever solution, but I didn't quite catch what it was. Before I could go up and ask, I noticed a section with the chemists displaying medical devices. And there it was. My angelic solution, or at least part of the solution, a treatment based on ...wait for it...Light! This drug-free solution involves putting a device into the nose, which fires red laser-like beams. Clinically proven, it works by convincing the cells that release histamine to stop doing so. As an indigo and lightworker, the whole concept of using light for healing was of course far more pleasing and comforting to my soul and psyche than taking medication.
I thanked the angels and walked home thinking that my hayfever might be cured for ever! All you do with the device is use it for 3 minutes every 5 hours. The results were pleasing, and at the very least lower my need for medication. But by thursday 12 June, my symptoms had seriously worsened. Having fainted on a couple of occasions, I was now experiencing recurrent migraine, brought on by light. Flourescent lights found in supermarkets, shops, and other big buildings, were the most serious offenders. And of course computers. Relying on my computer to, for e.g., write this newsletter, is clearly not helpful! Which is where this gets tricky, because I don't believe I have simple hayfever, but also major sensitivity to electrical items...more on that in a moment...
On Friday 13th June my migraines were becoming stronger. I went shopping with a friend and had to walk straight back out because the lights were aggravating me so much. I was then drawn to visit the chemist. This time I was open to the possibility of trying more medication. I bought a nasal spray as well as a fresh bottle of olbas oil for my sinuses which had been aching for many days now. I didn't like the look of the sinusitis nasal spray and the main ingredient, but I knew I had to do something about my symptoms and fast. I used the spray, once in each nostril, and inhaled deeply only to be greeted by a chemical taste dripping down the back of my throat. A couple of minutes later I actually felt the spray in action. I'm not sure my reaction was the usual reaction, but let's just say it felt like someone had poured acid or coca-cola into my brain and it seemed to move from the front to the back. I felt dizzy again and wondered if the spray was such a good idea after all. The blurb on the box said it worked within minutes to release sinusitis and lasted up to 10 hours! Ah well, who could argue with that...
However, I still had achey sinuses and so on when I turned up at my friend and reiki student's place for some reiki healing! We had tea and chatted for a few more minutes, giving the spray plenty of time to work, but I still felt the same. She invited me to lay back and receive reiki, and the pressure within my third eye and sinuses was incredible. After 30 minutes, I opened my eyes and felt okay again, realising that it was either the spray or reiki or both providing me with this welcome relief!
But it didn't last long. I actually started to feel worse again. My sinuses had cleared somewhat, but now I was feeling flu-like. Indeed, whilst having the reiki, I had become acutely aware that what I was feeling was similar to flu or cold in many ways. I went home early and slept till next day, but braved--with sunglasses--a few minutes at the computer writing an email to all the staff of 12listen and 12angel. To say that they helped me was an understatement. I had at least ten messages by next day, all offering me solutions and healing. Thank you guys! Because when I woke up next day I felt great.
Luckily, it came to a head by the Saturday and I was fine again, but my condition was so far gone, that both chemists I visited that day said that if the symptoms I had continued much longer I should visit a doctor for a course of anti-biotics. The moral of the story is, hayfever can be very serious indeed!
So what have I learned? Well I'm going to keep it practical for now and let you know what you can do to ease or cure your symptoms...
1). Red Light Therapy. A simple device which uses red light to suppress histamine
2). Wearing sunglasses. On the saturday I went to a friend's, and found myself sneezing, unable to keep my eyes open, and falling asleep. He worked out the connection with light and gave me a pair of sunglasses! I stopped sneezing and I was able to keep my eyes open again and felt wide awake!
3). Olbas oil. I swear by it. It's a menthol type oil that when breathed can instantly unblock your nose or sinuses. And the following information thanks to Lisa B of 12angel: '1/4 teaspoon course salt. 5 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil.
Place the salt in a small vial (glass is best) with a tight lid and add oil. The salt will absorb the oil and provide a convenient way to carry the oil without danger of spilling it. Open the vial and inhale deeply, as needed. This same technique can be used with any Essential Oil for other issues.'
4). Sound therapy. Download a free brainwave frequency generator at http://www.bwgen.com and use the following frequencies for hayfever: 20, 727, 787, 880hz, and for general allergy relief: 3.0, 330, 727, 787, 880hz
The interesting thing that has come up for me this year, is that both light and sound therapy (different forms of the same thing, energetic frequency!) have been very helpful to me this year, and as we can see with the Red Light Therapy device is now sold on the general market as 'clinically proven'. I have not heard of any clinically proven devices for Sound Therapy yet, but there is research for this approach and it stands to reason that sound affects us just as much as light.
I have gone into this whole allergy challenge a bit deeper with myself, and I suggest you do to. I have asked myself what is the underlying psychological and energetic reason for it? I found my guidance saying that it is because of my starry nature. I also sensed it was because of my discomfort with living on planet earth! There is much truth in this, as I often complain that I shouldn't be allergic to natural things like pollen, and I have always blamed the rising levels of pollution for my hayfever. Interestingly, I read an article in New Scientist last year which confirmed my belief, saying that hayfever is exasperated by pollution because pollen attaches itself to particles within exhaust fumes. Hayfever, for me, represents a discomfort or anxiety with the quality of energy upon earth, and the anxiety is the fear that I may not be able to live within the environment for much longer! On some level I also feel that it is an aspect--a part of me--protesting at the way the world is and hence not wanting to be here! I know, consciously anyway, that this doesn't 'have' to be true for me, because there are plenty of people who do not suffer like me.
To some extent, allergies go hand in hand with being indigo or sensitive, which is why I have the sensitivity to electricity also. But there are ways around this. Practical things we can do, like those suggested in my list above, and deeper things we can do, like meditate go within and ask why you choose to suffer this way? And what you can do to release this choice to suffer? Just by knowing 'why' may help you release this, because then you may know on a deeper level that you did indeed choose this for yourself!
Last night at my psychic meditation circle, I had an old guide reconnect with me. It was a star-being, surprise, surprise! He called himself Nu and said he is to guide me to help synthesise the terrestrial and extraterrestrial 'sides' of me, to make a completion, a wholeness again. He offered me a couple of gifts, including the crystal Unakite. Afterwards I looked in my friend's crystal dictionary, and was shocked to find everything within it to be relevant to me at this time. Most relevant to this article, though, it said Unakite can be used to help you get to the root cause of any health problem. I suggest you find yourself some Unakite, courtesy of Nu, and start digging!
Coming Soon: More articles on indigos and sensitivity, alternative solutions to allergies, and also my own experience of suffering from EHS (Electrical Hypersensitivity Syndrome)...

Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD: The Moon (Chalice Hill)
The image in this card is of a full moon behind a Lime tree (a tree of protection and luck) that sits atop Chalice Hill in Glastonbury. The moon represents the feminine, the intuitive, and the mysterious. The moon, because of it's waxing and waning, is a reminder of the cycles of nature within and without ourselves. Of course, the moon has a subtle magnetic pull upon us which affects our emotions, just as it is responsible for the tides. Unlike the Star or Sun, the moon does not create it's own light as such, rather it reflects light. This hints at the mystery of the moon, and hints at the possibility that all is not what it seems. Often, reality is projecting back to you your own fears and doubts...or presenting you with your wildest dreams about which you need to trust your instincts! The trick is to look beyond the reflection and see the source of the light instead. The moon can also represent deception and confusion, hence it's association with the term 'lunacy'. And, even more true to the name of lunacy, can also represent mental distress.
The moon, for me, is definitely a card of mystery. It is symbolic of the feminine and the intuitive, and thus the unconscious, challenging us to look beyond the surface and plough deeper for the seeds of truth within our experiences. It can also thus represent our psychic abilities. And if this card comes up it is either saying you are on the right track and your intuition is strong, or you need to stop, take a deep breath, go into your heart, tune in, and see what is really going on!
If I were to be totally honest, and honesty makes me human, I can say that I've been going through a confusing patch myself recently, and wondering what is really going on within my reality! Part of you knows, another part of you doubts. I find that, a lot of the time, it's easier just to allow all these thoughts and possibilities to be just that -- possibilities -- and simply trust that in time all will become clear again. In other words, to stop trying which is a state of Doing, relax, and go back into Being. Focus on anything which takes your mind off of questions, uncertainty, or worries. Anything that you enjoy, that relaxes you (like a nice salt bath with candle), anything that takes you back into the moment of Now. There aren't always techniques and 100% clear answers, except to trust in the universe and know that all will turn out for the good. In the end, it always does. Life is about experiencing and learning. As Abraham said through Ester Hicks when I attended Art of Allowing on the 19th of May, 'Are you enjoying the contrast of your experience?'
AFFIRMATION
'I trust that whatever wants to happen is the best outcome for me and those around me.'
MEDITATION
Take a deep breath in through the nose, and out through the mouth. Walk up Chalice Hill to the Lime tree, noticing a full moon behind the tree. Lean back on the tree and breath. Imagine your roots going into the earth, and breath up the energy up into your heart space. Then breath the moon's rays down through the leaves on your branches, down into your chest. Call upon the angel Gabriel, angel of the Moon, and ask for an awakening of your intuition and powers of knowing. If you have a query, ask, then wait for an answer. When you are finished, open your eyes. So as it is decreed, so it is.

Wesak Meditation 20th May
BACKGROUND
The Wesack is the time of the full moon in the sign of Taurus which usually falls in April, but can also fall in May. However, in 2008, we have been blessed to experience a 'blue moon', which is a double moon in the sense that we have had two full moons in the sign of Taurus, one on April 20th and the second on 20th May. So many people have celebrated two Wesack's this year! Yet I consider the 20th May to be the proper, or at least, final, celebration of the Wesack, which is also Lord Buddha's birthday.
Buddhists all over the world commemorate three great events: The Birth, Enlightenment and the Passing Away of Gautama Buddha. This is the festival of The Buddha, divine intermediary between the highest spiritual center, Shamballa, and the Spiritual Hierarchy. Wesak - the Sun in Taurus - Scorpio Full Moon - is the most powerful Full Moon of the year. The Sun's transit through Taurus exalts the Moon and Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus is identified with Mary, the World Mother. May, the month of Taurus, is the month of Mary. Venus appears in the west as the feathered serpent god Quetzxalcotal who brought enlightenment to the Mayans; in the east she is Maya, mother of the Buddha.
The Buddha is said to visit the mythical lands of the Wesak Valley. The Christ assembles Ascended Masters and initiates, whilst Lord Buddha appears overhead to give his blessings. The celestial dispensations expressed through Lord Buddha can be received over the three days following the full Moon.
Before I move on to the meditation, I wish to share my own personal story leading up to this year's Wesack. First, I must admit that I have not always followed such events in the 'spiritual calendar', despite always having been very spiritual. But this year I guess I received a calling or invitation from ther Buddha himself! To quote my diary from 19th April:
Sara shared info with me about sunday, astrological mainly, but also mentioned that Wesak is to do with the Buddha and the ascended masters. Buddha seemed to figure prominently! On the way back from pub, looked down at the pavement and swore I read 'laughing buddha'. Picked up green top of a box, and it was the box for a laughing buddha garden ornament! The main colour was green (heart?) Coincidentally, I was telling Sara last night randomly about the card i got on tuesday and my random outburts of laughter. The card said 'laughing like the buddha' and indeed I had thought many times since about whether the buddha actually laughed so much. When I told this to Paul Alexander on the phone, I looked down at the picture of Jesus on the book my mum lent me Friday (she wanted me to read it) called 'Love Without Conditions'. I then realised the Christ/Buddha energy was coming through very strongly. At the beginning. pg 9, Paul Ferrini, says the Buddha is an e.g. of the Christ energy or Being, it's different names/personages for the same thing...
THE WESAK MEDITATION
Light some incense and a candle. Take a deep breath in through the nose and release, out through the mouth. Become aware of your feet and the earth. Bring energy up from the earth and into every cell and aspect of your being from your toes to your head. Then become aware of the heavens and breath down energy from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Then affirm, 'I am connected to Mother Earth below, and Father Sky above.'
Now call upon Archangel Metatron and Melchizedek. See and feel them placing you in a protective bubble of silver-gold light. Now see yourself, with their help, being floated towards the Northeast into the Wesak Valley. Before arriving there, you stop in a circular clearing in the woods. You give thanks for all you have received and all that you have achieved in the days, weeks, months, and preceeding spiritual year. Now Archangel Metatron and Melchizedek float you off again towards the Wesak Valley.
You arrive at the Wesak Valley to see a pentagram of Ascended Masters led by the Christ. They glow with Platinum light. You feel excitement and joy and an increase in vibration. You move into a circle surrounding the pentagram with others like you, and join hands. You open your heart to receive the blessings of this time. Silence falls upon the land. To the northeast a speck appears which increases in size to become the appearance of the Buddha. He is wearing a safron robe, glowing gold, is seated in the lotus position, and has his arms open in blessing.
He hovers over the centre of the pentagram now, in the middle of which is a crystal chalice, full of the purest water from the eternal sea. You notice the the Buddha has the appearance of an eight pointed 'mandala' behind him, which represents the Ascension portal. As you watch the crystal chalice, you see the Full Moon rise from the centre.
Then you hear the sound of a gong, and other frequencies and manifestations of light and form, as a vibration emanates from the Buddha's heart and passes into the water. As it does so it creates ripples outwards which increase in frequency and intensity. As they do, water falls from the crystal chalice, and forms eight perfect puddles --spheres -- of water around the crystal chalice. Then a beam of gold-white light comes through the Buddha's heart. You are aware now that the 8-point mandala intersects at the Buddh'as heart, and it is from here that the beam of light emanates. It beams down into the water, and from there down into Mother Earth's core.
You feel a vibration as Mother Earth responds, and vibrations of light and sound emanate from Mother Earth's core and pass through all upon the earth including yourself, blessing you with the light and love of the Wesak. These vibrations quicken your ascension and lighten your heart and soul. Then the beam fades, there is another gong, and the Buddha moves off into the distance again from where he came.
You now spend some time just absorbing the new energies and activations into the core of your being. Then you make a prayer or request from the bottom of your heart, asking the Buddha and Ascended Masters to assist you to see your heart's desire fulfilled for the benefit of all. After some time, you return back in your silver-gold bubble of protection, back to your place of meditation and back to your body. Become aware of your feet upon the earth, give thanks, and slowly open your eyes. So as it is decreed in divine right time and order, so it is done. Namaste

Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD: 2 of Staffs (Gateway)
The image in this card is of a man standing in a field, holding up two staffs above his head, which cross each other to form an x. This shape is like the Runic Gebo, which means a gift or kiss. The way he holds the staffs is as if to say 'Stop. Walk no further'.
This is not, however, indicative of being held back. Rather, he is holding up the staffs to indicate that this is an opportune time to stop and pause. To consider how the past has led you to this point in your life. Moreover, to this new threshold that you are about to cross...into new territory.
Last week's card was 5 of Chalices (Progression). This week's card is almost like reaching the top of that uphill journey towards the light and finding a gateway. A gateway that marks the moving into a new place, into new energy.
So the message is to pause, contemplate the past, give thanks, and then move forward with confidence to receive the new Gift that is being offered. How relevant to receive this card on the Wesak! For indeed, we stand now at the gateway of the New Spiritual Year, giving thanks for what has been to bring us to here, and to open ourselves to receiving what can be in the form of the blessings -- the gift -- of the Wesak.
AFFIRMATION
'I am grateful for all that I have received, and open to all that I am receiving.'

Mood of the Week Tarot
THIS WEEK'S CARD: 5 of Chalices (Progression)
The image in this card is of a lady making her way up Chalice Hill in Glastonbury. There are three empty chalices besides her, and two golden filled-to-the brim chalices in the near distance! The message of this card is classicly not to 'cry over spilt milk', hence the three empty or spilt chalices being left behind and why she is dressed in a purple cloak the colour of mourning. In other words, if you've experienced difficulties or disapointments of late, there is no need to worry as things shall be changing for the better very soon! But when this card comes up, it is also more generally a reminder that life is a progression and a journey...that it's the journey there, not the being there, that counts.
In the week's gone, especially the time after the full moon, we may have found ourselves motivated and excited, as if everything feels new and with promise. Sometimes we would have felt like we were on a high. And of course every high is usually followed by a 'low'. Well the world is still new and full of promise, it always is if only you'd allow yourself to see it, but we've just passed into a quieter and more introspective period between the new moon and the next full moon (20th May). This is a time of spending more time with and within ourselves, doing inner work preparing us for the new energies about to emerge.
Another way of putting this, is to say that we have moved from a more active, masculine, period of energy, into a still, passive, and feminine period of energy. What I call the 'in between' or 'waiting time'.
Some may experience this as life just 'plodding on', which doesn't sound very exciting, but then this is how we often perceive the feminine when we have previously been experiencing the roller-coaster of the masculine! The key is to relax into this period, make full use of it, and simply see it for what it is. Indeed, this card reminds us that this is part of life and to accept it.
One of the wisest pieces of advice ever given to me regards my own albeit challenging work as a lightworker, especially in my early days at 12listen, was from our very own resident shamen Shane Knox. He simply said to 'keep going.' And to keep going is what this card is all about! Because, very soon, we shall be reaching those two chalices filled-to-the brim on top of the proverbial hill we're climbing! And we will see what all this inner work was leading up to. This should culminate on the full moon of the 20th, which is also the special time of the Wesack--Lord Buddha's birthday and the beginning of the New Spiritual Year!
No wonder we are feeling possibly strange and like we are 'going nowhere', we are being prepared for one of the biggest spiritual and energetic events of the year, which will catapult us forward at light speed, and this particular Wesack is going to be one of the most powerful yet!
AFFIRMATION
'I am a perfect balance of masculine and feminine energies. I am happy whatever may be going on within or around me.'
MEDITATION
Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Become aware of the sun in the sky. Call upon the angel Raphael who represents the Sun, and say, 'I call upon the sun, the light of the world.' Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and breath the sunlight through the top of your head and down through your body, out through your feet, and down into the earth. Now call upon Gabriel, the angel representing the moon. See the moon, and say, 'I call upon the silver moon of the night, the inner light that shines the way ahead.' Then breath down it's pearly-silver rays through the top of your head and down through your body, out through your feet. Now ask that the sun and the moon, the gold and the silver, the feminine and the masculine, the logical and the intuitive, with the help of Raphael and Gabriel, come down together as one light of Unity Consciousness through all of your relevant chakras.
Then see yourself walking up that hill, leaving the empty chalices behind. Arrive at the top and pay attention to your journey. does it feel easy or tiresome? If so, why? Then ask for and make required changes so that your journey may be perceived more easily. When you reach the top, see the sun go down and experience the night. See the moon in the sky. Then see the sun come back up and rise, it's rays warming you, the birds singing their dawn chorus. See your body transparent and empty, now becoming filled with sunlight, as if you were a glass being refilled with the Sun's nectar. Give thanks for all that you have received and are receiving.
Now become still, tune inwards, then do whatever you feel drawn to do or be. Enjoy! Namaste

Piano Playing Child Prodigy...
Mood of the Week Tarot
Every week a Tarot card is randomly selected for all you readers, and then I write up a mini reading, affirmation, and meditation, for your growth and enjoyment. Your mood of the week tarot card is...
THIS WEEK'S CARD: 8 of Chalices (Renewal)
The image of this card is a woman in a dark blue cloak walking across a bright yellow path. She pulls up her cloak with her left hand to reveal various colours and patterns underneath. In her right hand is a mask on a stick. This of course represents the persona, mask, or projection of who we wish others to think we are. But of course, there are many sides to our true nature, some which we choose to allow and some which we choose to repress. In this image she is turning to walk towards the sun in the distance above Chalice Hill in Glastonbury. She is choosing to turn away from past fears and instead walk into the rays of truth and light, revealing the various patterns underneath her cloak which represent her once hidden potential and true nature. She is choosing now to reveal more of her true self.
So what does this card mean for us? Well, if my experience is anything to go by, it represents us allowing more of our true selves to shine, like the image of the rainbow. So if this card comes up for us, it indicates that we are either hiding our light under a bushel, or finally walking towards the light of the sun again and away from our fears and feeling free to show our true colours. I know that many have had a challenging few weeks, but things are changing for the better, is what this card suggests, just like the rainbow appeared to Moses to promise no more rain! Well... less rain anyway, and most definitely a period of relative calm! I'm no astologer, but I know that we recently had a New Moon, which is of course about new beginnings.
AFFIRMATION
'I lovingly accept all aspects of my multi-dimensional self, and feel free to express all that is truly me'.
MEDITATION
Create a beautiful, relaxing space to symbolise renewal, to symbolise that this time is special and new. Maybe light an incense and a candle. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through the nose...and out through the mouth. Become aware of your body and how it feels in the position you are sitting. Look into the candle, if you have one lit, and after a while breath the flame into your heart and on the out breath, expand it around your entire body. Let the flame burn through you. See another flame at the centre of your heart, and affirm, 'This is the flame of my true being within me that forever burns'. Then become aware of the flame around your body again. Breath out forcefully and expand the flame, out into every aspect of your life, and affirm, 'The flame of my true being lights my entire world with my truth.' Your inner truth is now manifested on the outside! See yourself on that path now, taking off your cloak to reveal your true nature. Turn around and walk along the yellow path towards the sun above Chalice Hill. Breath in deeply the energising light and warmth of the sun, and finish by affirming, 'I manifest the light of my truth. And so it is.'

Many Shades of Indigo: The Who's Who Guide to the New Children
Many articles and books have been written on this subject about the different 'types' of evolutionary-accelerated children we are seeing these days. I tend to call all these different children--whether indigo, crystal, or starkid--either indigo children or new kids. For me, I prefer the term indigo rather than the generalisation 'new kids' because it's the original term that people recognise. I use it so that I may talk about the process of evolution, rather than 'types' of children, and thus don't see why people make such a fuss about the terminology. You see, I am a process-centred being rather than a 'type' centred being, for want of a better way of putting it! And I don't like to view the process of evolution as being akin to 'the latest model' worldview which so smacks of the materialistic and commercial world we live in.
What am I trying to get at? Well, it's this: No matter how much you try to define our new children 'this' or 'that', there is as much difference within a group of indigos, or crystals, or whatever, as there is amongst the general populace. They are all different! I've met indigos, who, despite having many of the indigo 'traits' like myself, were vastly different from myself. So different, in fact, we might always be at logger-heads, but then I suppose that's kinda one of our traits anyway! And I've seen massive differences amongst those children perceived as being indigo. The cynic may say some of them were indigo and some were not, but I think otherwise...
And the most important fact of all is that no-one, no matter what 'model' they were born as, stays the same. Not only does evolution mean that children can be born wired up very differently, but the evolution is not just something that happens when you receive a new body! It's, as suggested in the last two ascension 2012 articles, something that happens all the time within our minds, bodies, and souls, at whatever age we may find ourselves.
One way of looking at this is to say 'If your born from a certain year onwards, or if you have these traits, then your indigo', or crystal, or starseed or whatever. The other model is to see the bigger picture which may even go beyond this blink of a life-time and say your an ever-changing being. Of course, though, there are apparent differences and similarities between these children which lead to seemingly valid distinctions being made and I'm not pro or con that really. Ultimately, my point is this: If you were 'born' indigo, it's very unlikely that you still are.
And no I don't mean that your out of date...rather, that you've been updated! The process of evolution goes on. And thus someone that was born indigo may now be 'crystal.' How? Well because evolution never stops, it only slows down or speeds up. And of course, during an ascension period and what with all these new children being born, the more of them that choose to come here, the more our planet's--and hence our--vibration is raised, no matter which 'box' we choose to put ourselves in! Along with all the vibration raising that our social-scientific-spiritual revolution is creating...
Okay, now that I've gotten that off of my chest *takes a deep breath* here's a quick definition of the various shades of indigo:
1). Indigo Children. Firstly, there are the new breed that started this all off, the indigo children. Said to have indigo auras, they started appearing en masse in 1979, the year that I was born surprise surprise! They are the new children (many now adults) that came in to 'bust the system'. They are the fiery ones with a tendency to question everything. Hence they often receive the psychiatric labels of 'ADHD'. Often considered wild and untameable, the energy they brought in was of a very multi-dimensional nature, here to bring that which no longer serves us, or is lacking integrity, to the surface. They are the warriors who paved the way. They are still around of course, but many are being upgraded to Crystal.
2). Crystal Children. Having met endless indigo children and adults of varying ages over the years, I actually dated the need for the term 'indigo'. I thought maybe crystals were just quiet or chilled out indigos! But when I met my first crystal child, there was no doubt about it.
It was my mother's friend whom we bumped into in 2007. She had a daughter and a younger son, the son being very wild and hyperactive, and hence a likely candidate for indigo energy. My mum's friend had a baby daughter whom I hadn't yet seen. She was already a year old. She was pale skinned with blonde hair, very beautiful and delicate looking, and yet seemed to have an 'old' look to her. She had amazing blue eyes and there was an incredible sense of quietness and peace with her. She made no sounds whatsoever, and gave the impression that she was non-verbal. I was totally aware that she was a new child. But what really blew my socks off was when standing to one side, and thus with a view of my mother and her friend talking as well as the baby girl at the same time, I observed something which said it all. As they discussed things, I noticed that her face changed rapidly. I was aware that her reactions were in response to what they were discussing, but with one important distinction--she'd react just BEFORE the change in content with the releavtn emtional response. Cynics will say I imagined this, but the next part we all could not have imagined. The little girl started to look upset, and then my mother suggested she'd 'love' to babysit for her daughter sometime. I looked at my mum and moved my eyes to indicate 'look at her'. She was totally distraught. The question was how did she know? Simple. She was totally tuned in to her mother telepathically.
I now know that there ARE another set of new children that are distinctive in the following ways: Being non-verbal, highly telepathic, and carrying a sense of peace or quiet with them. These are the 'crystal' or 'cryst all' children, that do not tend to be present in the throat or third eye like indigos, but in the heart and crown. They are delicate and sensitive and have been able to come in, usually after an indigo child has done much warrior healing within a family. They are also bringing us collectively to a higher level, and indeed helping their indigo brothers and sisters receive their crystal activations!
3). Star Children. I call these 'indigo starkids' because 'all starkids are indigos but not all indigos are starkids'. In other words, there is a sub-section of the indigo children who are highly focused upon their starry nature. They are of a galactic disposition, and may report past or future lives connected to other civilisations in space, what we would call 'extraterrestrials.' Starkids, of which I am one (well, a grown up one now) also go a step further and feel that they are not actually from this planet. I used to feel the same way myself, but now comfortable with my earth nature as well as my star nature, I help such children and adults to remember they are neither or both, rather than one or the other, and that they chose to incarnate on planet earth--as a Human--for a reason. I call this consciousness splintering 'Multi Dimensional Personality Confusion' and is one of the main reasons for my work. More on this in future.

The Growing Pains & Joys of Ascension!
As our world shifts into ever higher vibrations, we too shift into a higher octave of love and light. I cannot and will not speak for other 'ascension-ologists', but when I say that we are shifting into a higher vibration I do not mean this in some abstract sense. I mean this in a literal sense. We are literally being re-wired from the inside out and the outside in! 'As within, so without, as above so below'. Not only is time literally speeding up, not only are energies affecting us from 'out there', but--just like the butterfly which goes into the cacoon stage to begin its process of DNA transformation--we too are in the process of a transformation not only of our minds and souls, but also of our bodies.
Remember the scientific-philosophical conundrum about all our cells being replaced every 7 years, and yet we still retain the consistency of body and memories? Well it's like that with ascension, except that...it's a whole lot faster. Lower vibrating energies are slower and higher one's are faster in vibration, so in one sense the experience of 'time' is a product of vibration. As we ascend, which means to rise upwards, we become less heavy and instead lighter. You could say en-light-ened!
On the weekend just gone, I was watching the film 'Herby' at my auntie's, which is about a car that is alive. At one point, the character's decide to give Herby a new engine. Of course, part of me perceived Herby to be purely 'physical' because he was a car, and therefore if he was to undergo drastic physical alterations, that which makes Herby may cease to exist. But of course the whole moral of the story is that Herby really is alive, and therefore has a soul! So no matter how many times he receives a make-over (gets a new body) that which makes Herby 'Herby' still exists.
And so it is with us. We are, in a sense, receiving new 'bodies'--of mind, soul, and physical self--all the time, as we integrate the new energies. The result? We experience growing pains, just as we experienced physical growing pains as children. And just as our birth into physicality involved great pain as well as joy, so too the ascension process involves great pains and great joys!
So what are some of the symptoms of ascension, of spiritual trance-formation?
1). Just like the new children coming in, we will experience becoming more sensitive to the world around us and the world within us.
2). We may find ourselves being drawn to 'quieter' activities and spending more time alone due to our increased sensitivities. This is so we can integrate any changes within our own 'spatial awareness.'
3). You may find yourself becoming more sensitive to negativity in the world. For e.g. television, especially the news, will seem dense and depressing! The answer to this one is obvious...
4). We may feel actual pains in our bodies and mind's. The key is to remain detached for these are what I talked about earlier--growing pains--and take care of one's self. (Anything relaxing like spending time in natural surroundings, having a hot warm bath with a candle, really help). Remember that growth involves 'pain' but that is different from negative! Who would say that your birth was 'negative', and if you were to have avoided your birth process...well, you wouldn't be here now!
5). We may experience unusual bodily sensations, feeling weird, spaced out, for no apparent reason. This is often due to ascension energies, and we would do well to remember to ground ourselves at these times with exercise, rocks, trees etc.
6). We may experience real physical changes in our bodies. For e.g., a few years back I suddenly developed a strange rash all over my skin after meditation. It went red and then blistered. I was considering seeing a doctor, but then I remembered to try an organic sea-salt bath, and the rash cleared up! Salt baths are particularly good for ascension related bodily pains or skin-sensitivities. By all means see a doctor, do not take risks with your health, but try natural solutions whenever possible especially at these times!
7) Talking of natural solutions, we will also find ourselves reacting badly to poor quality foods, chemicals etc. A change in diet, wholesome whole-grain, high fibre (for grounding) organic foods are preferable.
8) We may experience feeling 'lighter'. This is of course the bodily sensation of enlightenment. Becoming more awake--'enlightened'--literally involves feeling lighter! As good as this may feel, it is important not to become addicted to the sensation of flying, and instead remember to ground ourselves by imagining growing roots into the earth, connecting with anything natural like trees and rocks, and also eating more to keep us grounded (especially if your sensitive and/or have always been slight).
9) We may consciously experience the speeding up of time. The hands of your watch or clock will not spin in front of your eyes, but mental awareness of time speeding up will be very obvious to those awakening. This can be disorientating and lead to time and organisation related problems or even feeling anxious or 'hyper'. One possible answer here is to do anything that is grounding, especially to keep an eye on the time--if you never used to wear a watch, now is the time!--and to keep a daily diary. If you can, that is, if time doesn't go too fast for you to fill it out! ;-)
10) You will also experience emotional releases. Crying apparently for no reason. Just let yourself cry and then forget about it. because time is speeding up all energy healing passes through our bodies more quickly. I always tell my clients about the psychic-reading process in relation to this. When you read for someone, you become their mirror. You must tell them what you see, hear or feel. If you get a pain in the heart, tell them, because if you don't the pain will stay there until you do! The simple act of owning an energy let's it pass through you to be transcended. You do not even require a conscious understanding of it. make it easy on yourselves. The great thing about ascension and time-acceleration (time, remember, is really 'the frequency of vibration') is that an e-motion (energy in motion) that could have taken a week, month, or longer to clear before, can now pass in no time at all, because it moves at a quicker pace through your own personal s-pace!
There are many more symptoms of ascension, but this is just an introduction. If you'd like an intuitive-energetic reading to work on your ascension related questions or personal process, feel free to telephone me via 12Listen:

You Are The Reason (Peace Song)
Well for this week 'that's all folks'. But before I go, I really must share the following youtube link with you to the musical wonders of Bonniestecroix and her peace song 'You are the Reason'. Believing tears and crying are the most powerful form of healing there is, this track helped me cry not once but twice! No doubt they were Indigo tears of frustration with the world As It Is, but also tears of hope for What Could Be...

'Mood of the Week' Tarot Card
Every week a Tarot card is randomly selected for all you readers, and then I write up a mini reading, affirmation, and meditation, for your growth and enjoyment. This week's card is...
THIS WEEK'S CARD: The Hierophant ('Joseph of Arimathea')
Coincidentally enough, this tarot card has kept making an appearance for me since last week. The hierophant represents a wise figure to whom we seek counsel, and yet this figure is also us. The card represents the balance of listening to the signs and messages around us, and yet remembering to listen to our own inner wisdom. Because there is no real difference between the 'inner' and the 'outer'--the outside is a reflection, ultimately, of the inside--if we listen carefully enough on the outside, the world speaks to us even when it is silent; and of course, if we listen carefully on the inside, we have an inner world that speaks to us too.
Although the 'outside' world may speak to us, we must be wary of making anyone on the outer world a Guru. Remember that the word Guru can be pronounced, 'G...u...r...u'! It is fine to consult others for their advice or wisdom, but be careful not to become lazy or dependent. Do not use other's access to divinity and inner wisdom--the Hierophant--as your crutch. After all, if you do that too much your own Hierophant will not be given the chance to grow. Intuitive muscle is like any other. Keep exercising it and it gets stronger like a muscle. Stop using it and it atrophies. Use it or lose it! Although of course you can never truly lose your inner connection to the wise-man or woman within.
So, in short, the message of this card, as with all tarot cards, is Balance. If you've been relying on the outside world for your information and decision making processes, spend more time within. Or maybe you need to balance yourself by doing the opposite! Spend more time listening to the messages on the outside, and allow yourself the freedom to consult the Divine Wisdom that expresses itself through the outside world, accepting that ultimately 'as within so without'. Guidance comes in many forms: coincidences (synchronicity), other people's words (even if the person doesn't realise they are 'answering' your question).
Try asking the Universe a question and wait to see what happens! Be rest assured, if you are open to guidance within and without you will ALWAYS receive an answer in some form, or at least a key or sign-post guiding you in the right direction. Have faith and trust in the Universe's ability reach you in any way necessary!
AFFIRMATION
'I ask, listen, and trust in the Wisdom of the Universe within and without me...'
MEDITATION
Close your eyes, take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Take a journey to Joseph of Arimathea's Thorn Tree growing on Wearyall Hill, Glastonbury, in England. You walk up the hill towards the tree, feeling the ground beneath your feet and the sun shining upon your face. Then you reach the tree, closing your eyes again--yes, closing your eyes a second time!--and thus enter another level of reality again. Yet another 'dream within a dream'. Then you become aware of the presence of Joseph of Arimathea who has a message for you. Simply wait and see what the message is.
Once you have your message, come back and open your eyes. Remember that, ultimately, nothing 'outside' can come unto you unless it did not also exist within you, for how else could it get there except that it was already there waiting to be re-discovered. And a thing can only be felt within as true because it was, at some level, already known. You all ready have all the answers you seek, right now, within you...all you have to do is ask. Namaste

Who are the Indigo Children?
Who are the Indigo Children?
by Jamie Basil
The indigos, by their very nature, can be hard to define. They resist labels and hate nothing more than limiting perception. However, we live in a world of labels, and so whilst 'indigo' may seem inappropriate in many ways, we realise there are worse labels out there like 'Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder', a common psychiatric explanation given for these children (and adults, because many of us have grown up now!). Doreen Virtue turns that label on its head beautifully by re-labelling ADHD 'Attention Dialled into A Higher Dimension'! Enough said...
Indigos were first noticed in modern times by Nancy Anne Tappe in the late 70s, a parapsychologist who started noticing children with indigo auras. By 1984 it was believed masses of these children were coming in, and today most children are 'evolutionary changelings' of some kind. They are referred to, in general, as 'the New Kids on the Block', preparing us for what lies in store 2012...
Please note that the indigos, crystals, star-kids (whatever you choose to call them) may be different but they are still human. The main point is that physical age has nothing to do with spiritual and psychic wise-ness. The Soul has it's own age. In the words of Swami Prabhupada:
'The body is changing--from one form to another--but the spirit soul is existing eternally without changes. ...our body has been changing... This process is generally known as 'growth', but actually it is a change of body. On this earth we see change of day and night, and change of season. The more primitive mentality attributes this phenomenon to changes occurring in the sun. ...weaker...[or] dead. With more advanced knowledge we see that the sun is not changing at all...'
And with more advanced knowledge we find that physical age does not determine Soul age. We are all 'older than our years', including our children!
So how does one work out if you or your child is indigo? Well, I believe we are all indigo really, which is a big part of why the indigo children are here in the first place. Simply by being here, they wake us up through rememberance of their original state, to who we really are. Many of us have forgotten, but the indigo remember although they don't necessarily know that they are 'indigo'. They may thus be recognised by the following traits:
1). They are very strong willed and may appear 'opinionated' or 'cocky'. They dislike any form of authority.
2). They are system busters and assumption questioners. Instead of accepting explanations like 'That's the way it is' they ask 'WHY is it THAT way?' Instead of just looking for problems they also like to find solutions. They can go into any system, and, without training or education, quickly notice inconsistencies and hypocrisy.
3). They are often mis-labelled as 'ADHD' (hyperactive and attention deficit), autistic, AS (asperger's syndrome or high functioning autism) Bi-Polar, dyslexic etc.
4). They are highly intelligent, but often not classicly so. In other words, they tend to have high IQs but they may not perform well in schools or tests due to boredom. Note that at least a quarter of children with high IQs, sometimes at genius level, flunk school exams! They may also have genius in some intelligence other than IQ, for example creative genius. (See below, also, for 'high SQ').
5). They are very wise and aware for their age. May appear spiritually precocious and knowledgable (separate from religious knowledge). They have, in other words, a very high SQ (Spiritual Quotient)!
6). On the Myer's Brigg personality inventory they tend to score as ENFP (extraverted, intuitive, sensing, perceiving) types. I predicted this whilst at Open Univeristy studying psychology in 2001. A recent surge of indigos reporting such scores on the Children of the New Earth magazine chat room has appeared confirming my logic. Of course, I am an ENFP too, which is why I made the prediction, as well as the fact that ENFP's tend to outperform the other 15 types on tests of Psi (or ESP, extrasensory perception) according to research.
7). They will report feeling chronically estranged, 'lost', and searching, with a strange anxiety that 'something' is going to 'happen'. This, I believe, is due to a semi-conscious awareness of who they really and their life mission which is related in some way to the environmental, social, and spiritual-scientific revolutionary changes (aka 'ascension 2012') that are happening on Earth. Once they become conscious of this, the floating anxiety tends to dissipate.
8). Display sensitivity to other people's thoughts and emotions, their environment, and life in general. This includes a vivid awarness of their own 'inner world'. Such children may be considered 'intuitive' or 'psychic'.
9). They may report imaginary friends, seeing and communicating with spirits, angels, ETs etc
10). They have an apparently poor sense of 'time'. They may even have problems understanding the concept, not just being 'on time'! They tend to think in terms of patterns and non-linear relationship (holism) rather than organise themselves according to the concept of the 'forward arrow of time.'
11). They may report past life and even future life recall, or having lived on 'another planet'! More rarely, some experience living a 'secret' or parallel life as some other being, often 'extraterrestrial' or believe they are foreign to this planet. (I tend to refer to those children with extraterrestrial life recall or who experience themselves as 'not from here' as StarChildren or 'Indigo StarChildren. Those who have serious difficulties in this area I believe are suffering from 'Multidimensional Personality Confusion'!)

What is Ascension 2012? 'Crash' Course!
Well hopefully I haven't thrown a spanner in the works by calling this a 'crash course', when it's meant to be about ascending onwards and upwards! ;-) In any case, my work as a Lightworker involves very much what I call 'the physics of personal and collective Ascension'. Many of my psychic-chanelled readings involve references to personal and collective 'consciousness evolution', and of course because the new kids (the indigos etc.) are the product of the Ascension process, the two go hand in hand.
This is a very deep subject which you may have heard about under the name of '2012' or 'the Age of Aquarius', or may not have heard about it at all. Whatever you may or may not have heard, do not be put off by the esoteric sounding name, for 'ascension' is a phenomenon which affects us all--whatever we may believe--and even if we feel more like we're 'crashing' at times (which is all part of the course, me thinks!) The following is a simple introduction, a crash course (oops, there we go again) in Ascension physics ..
I like to think of Ascension as a form of evolution. Evolution of consciousness can occur at any time and is possible because of the very construct we call 'time'. Evolution is, in simple terms, the changing and growing of form and consciousness as myriad expressions of the God-force (the timeless and formless) across space-time. Evolution of consciousness is also the evolution of body, not just mind, for the mind and body are One, not separate.
Many of us have heard from science the mysterious phenomenon of the replacement of all cells within us every seven years, cells within every part of our bodies including the brain. The question is, after all that, how on earth does the 'I'--the self--still exist? You could even argue that the 'I' of today--mind as well as body--is not the same 'I' that existed seven years ago or even yesterday!
I am suggesting that in the world of illusion nothing is static or solid. It is all fluid and changing form. The process of 'death' which is the same as re-birth is occuring and reoccuring every moment. The only thing we can be really sure of in the world of form is that nothing stays the same, even though we may choose to perceive that it does! The third law of thermodynamics says, 'Energy cannot be destroyed, it only changes form'. And, likewise, through the process of Ascension we 'human-beings' (really souls) cannot die but only change form, just as the caterpillar becomes the butterfly. (And which, by the way, is one of the few animals which totally re-writes it's DNA, nothing less than a form of biological alchemy).
But when I refer to 'death', I am not necessarily referring to that big event at the 'end' of our lives! No, I am referring to the very deaths--aka transformations--that occur within our beings at the level of mind, cell, and energy, all of the time. The Butterfly is, of course, a beautiful representation of this process for us.
What I am suggesting is that we can and are evolving. Monkeys may not be jumping out of the trees and walking, and we may not be sprouting feathers and flying, but we are evolving nonetheless! Some of us take part in this process 'actively'--by, for e.g., practises like meditation and healing--and yet we ALL take part in this process 'passively'. Whatever we think or embody we add to the energetic-evolutionary pool of potential and actual expression. What do I mean? Well again, without getting into the detail (just yet anyway!), everything within our reality is inter-connected. It is like our minds (and hence bodies) are connected by a superhighway of informational-light akin to all the computers of the world connected by internet. I find it curious that the word Universe contains 'uni' the prefix for 'one'! Maybe someone is trying to tell us something...
So if evolution is something that always happens, why is it such a big subject these days? Well, when I was growing up, I was fascinated by the number 3 and any multiple thereof. This led to a big fascination with the number 12. I realised in my teens that the date 2012 was significant. Taking the numbers further, 21st of December 2012 contains an awful lot of 12's! Imagine my surprise, then, to start hearing more and more about the date of 21/12/2012. One of the main sources for the 2012 date comes from the Mayan's, whose calendar 'ends' on that date. Some have foreseen this as meaning that the world 'ends' on this date, some that it is only an ending of the world as we know it. Either way, the date remains highly significant in people's minds the world over.
What do I believe? I believe that because we are all energetic beings, and because we are all interconnected by what I call the 'Universal Wide Web'(or what physicists refer to as quantum entanglement), whatever happens 'in here' or 'out there' affects the rest of the 'All That Is Everywhere'. Philosophy aside, the very same '7 year' process that happens within our cells happens within the 'cells' of the Earth, and indeed within the cells of the Universal.
'As within so without, as above so below'.
In today's language, we might wish to refer to the Universe as a Hologram. Whatever terminology we choose to use, though, every now and then within the world of form allowed by space-time there is a galactic wave of energy from the Source--like a Galactic Wake Up Call--the Earth aligns to the Galactic core, and all beings receive a crescendo of Light and Love. As we head towards the peak of the Ascension process on 21/12/2012, time speeds up and is perceived as non-linear which thereby speeds up the process of evolution, we have a more vivid experience of 'cause and effect' so that we more quickly see the results of our thoughts and actions (manifestation) and more readily understand and release our karma. Because of the speed at which this occurs, it is in other words a Quickening process, and so I refer to the Ascension as being a special form of evolution known as an 'evolution r-evolution'. (Which, of course, allows for rapidly evolved children to appear, known as 'indigo', 'crystal', and 'star' children).
All those who can--i.e. who choose--to move from a place of fear (Solar Plexus issues, 3d) into Love (Heart chakra, 4d) have the choice of another time-stream of evolution by making a leap into at least the 4th dimension. And thereby, the possibility of Heaven upon Earth can become a spiritual and physical reality for us all...
